Time Machine Hints
You can use hints below if you are stuck.
PLEASE NOTE: the hints below are NOT cyphered, so make sure you expand the one that you need in order not to spoil the other clues 😉
Envelope #1
Cut out the geometric shapes from the layout sheet.
Fold the shapes so that the straight lines form a continuous path.
What building did you end up with?
This is Big Ben.
You've already encountered Big Ben in this box. What time does the clock show now?
There are letters on the clock face too.
You need the letters indicated by the clock hands.
The answer is TEA. Take films with letters TEA and attach to the envelope #2.
Envelope #2
Stage #1 - Mazes
Navigate through each maze and retrieve two sequences of words that correspond to the correct route.
The words correspond to the symbols on the time machine.
Using the sequences of words that were obtained, thread the ropes on the time machine through the corresponding holes.
The threaded ropes creates the numbers 2047
Stage #2 - Gears
Insert the gears correctly. The first and the last gear should point to the clock.
Set in series the correct numbers on the first gear, and see the letters on the last one.
The answer is ATOM. Take films with letters ATOM and attach to the envelope #3.
Envelope #3
There are two gray shapes on the inside of the box. Using the puzzle pieces, reproduce these shapes, and put them on the layout.
The symbols on the puzzle parts correspond to the drawings on paper squares.
The red and black pointers, which are labeled with numbers, indicate the number of points in each sector of the layout where a paper square should be placed.
You need four light bulbs, to which both the red and black wires fit, without interrupting along the way.
The answer is LINK. Take films with the letters LINK and attach to the envelope #4.
Envelope #4
Insert the wooden parts into the time machine.
Connect the rubber bands to each of the two pins, the sum of the numbers of which is fifty or seventy. There are thirteen such pairs.
You got four letters - M C M L.
These are roman numerals. On the inner sticker in the box there are rules for converting Roman numbers to Arabic.
One thousand nine hundred and fifty.
Scroll the gears and get the word.
The answer is FLIGHT. Take films with the letters FLIGHT and attach to the envelope #5.
Envelope #5
Point 1
Combine the symbols on the time machine into six groups of four symbols of the same kind. Each group has an extra element.
Groups: transport, letters, signs, tools, light sources, shapes.
Extra elements: airplane, letter Q, question mark, shovel, light bulb, circle.
In the professor’s project, the extra symbols correspond to the necessary letters.
The answer is SCHEME.
Point 2
What fuel is used in the time machine?
In your time it is raisins, but what was it in the past?
The answer is GRAPE.
Point 3
Align the new wood piece with any of the old combed gears.
Empty space forms shapes.
The answer is TETRIS.
Point 4
Using the professor's chart as reference, recreate the details of Big Ben with precision.
You already saw this drawing finished in your time.
Red lines indicate the correct letters.
The answer is MINUS.
Point 5
Lay out the calendar sheets in the order of the days of the week.
You got a famous numeral sequence.
The answer is PI.
Final stage
Write the answers to each point of the plan on the corresponding tapes, then cut them out.
Insert the cut tapes into the holes in the time machine.
Align the pattern on the tapes with the pattern on the time machine to determine the letters you need.
The answer is SETUP. Take films with the letters SETUP and attach to the envelope #6.
Envelope #6
Replace the gear on the time machine.
You need the year where the Professor lives.
Year - two thousand and forty-seven.
The answer is BOUND. Take films with the letters BOUND and attach to the envelope #7.
Envelope #7
Make the corresponding calculations according to the task.
The answer is SIX.
